A brief outline of a few assumptions I am operating off of for this theory as a longtime community consumer:

• G.R.R.M. writes in a gardening style.
• The overall series ending will be “bittersweet”.
• G.R.R.M. writes things for a reason.

Further, I’d like to explain some stylistic choices that will be necessary in this series.

• Direct quotes will be inserted without quotation marks, except in the case of dialogue. Italics in quotes will be from canon – where I wish to emphasize certain portions, I will bold.
• “Arya” refers to Jeyne-as-Arya, generally when discussing the living symbol  
• For the most part, I will refer to characters by their proper names: Theon will be Theon even when he is Reek.
• When a chapter is named differently than the proper character name, I will do my best to accurately number the chapter (i.e. “The Turncloak” Theon 5, ADWD)
